With systems centered around hardware equipment such as a hard disk recorder, there are times when you wish you had access to the abundant collection of software effectors.

This is where console comes in handy. By connecting your hard disk recorders's AUX SEND/RETURN to console, you can use console as a multi-effector.

For example, with samplers that have a built-in sequencer (i.e. AKAI MPC series), you can use the multi-out for effect processing and mixing with console. MPC also functions as a MIDI sequencer that can control external tone generators, so you can further expand your possibilities by using software synthesizers within console.
